How Much Longer can Fossil Fuels be our Primary Source of Energy?
Fossil fuels have been our source of energy ever since the beginning of time. However, as we all know, there is but a limited supply of it and it cannot all be harvested at once due to the damage it will cause to our earth. Despite our slowly dwindling source of energy, many people question whether or not this source of energy can still last us decades.
It has been reported by the OPEC that “growth in global oil demand will steadily lessen from an annual average of 1.3 million barrels a day between 2016 and 2020, to 300,000 barrels a day by 2035-2040 and fossil fuels will remain the main energy source decades from now.
No doubt the statistics say that fossil fuels will last us longer than it should, it’s always worth investing in other means of energy production. The market for oil and gas is definitely not as good as it used to be a few decades ago, however, it doesn’t show signs of stopping just yet. As much as investments in other sectors would be a good idea, for those wanting to get into the oil and gas market, it’s not too late.
